souped up polo!

so i have a 1996 polo cl 1.4 aex sohc, as it states on my profile, im wanting a bit more power as i have just bought another car and would like the polo as a bit of a b road race car. (i dont want to hear that there is no point, be positive mate 
)
so i have found some parts-
-a bike carb kit from danst engineering
-4-2-1 headers
-sportex exhaust with the resonated mid pipe
(i will decat it using grinder and a chisel)
-an amr 500 supercharger (a cheap ebay special)
-cat cams fast road cam
just wondering if anyone has used any of these parts before and if they are any good
also if anyone knows how the little old 1.4 will take roughly 8 or 10 psi of boost
