Does anyone know if it’s possible to get into the housing of the rear light to change the bulb? My son broke the tail light but just the glass, the bulb was still working. I bought a new light without the bulb thinking I could remove from the old light fitting and put into the new one.

I’m baffled as I can see the light fitting is the right size but for the life of me I cannot find the bulb in the existing unit. It’s a 2023 TSI 1.0 automatic Polo if that helps.

What lamp are you looking for, the presence and braking lamp? If you can't find it, won't it be LEDs?
