Congratulations on getting your first serious mod!
Who are you getting to fit it? (or are you brave enough to DIY
)
How much did it cost?
I've got a unmodded polo tonight (courtesy car) as my car is at the dealers... Can't believe the difference the kit makes... The standard gearbox feels so sloppy after being used to the B&M! (sorry to everyone who doesn't have one!
)
I'm sure you'll love it!
Let me know as soon as you get it fitted! It'll take a bit of getting used to... you'll keep thinking you havn't got it in gear, but it is! It'll take a few days!

£165 including fitting, quite cheap me thinks!
The guy seems to think it won't fit it, you know how it's for a Mk3 VR6!
I think the gear box in the Polo is quite sloppy to be honest, can't wait to get it changed!

sorry to hijack this thread but ive searched hi and low but cant find a short shifter its for a 01 1.4 8v 5 spd polo LHD any help would be aprichiated (sp?) ps it is sloppy in a 31 year old beatle there is less play (beleve me ive driven one) and its box is in the boot, so to speak!
