I'm seriously considering making some (very minor) modifications to my car; to start with lights...

I can only seem to find a decent picture of the rear light cluster on a Polo GT, which looks quite sweet, but having seen a post by Nelson about the rear lights on the Polo Dune, I'm interested as to what they look like on closer inspection. Anyone have any decent pictures, per chance?

Whilst I'm on the semi-subject... the mirrors on the Polo Dune look quite cool, but I'm uncertain what they'd look like on an Indigo Blue 5-door like mine... what do you folks think?

Had mine on for a few months now...

Definately worth the money, people certainly notice the difference 8)

The mirrors on the Dune are sadly just painted silver, they're not Aluminium, otherwise the Dune would probably be about £500 more expensive

I'm sorry Nelson, but what did you have on yours for a few months now? Not being sarcastic here or anything.

Nelson's rear GT lights  (the darkened indicators are noticeable)

Shame about the Dune mirrors... they do look quite nice at a throw. How complimicated is it to install the new clusters, btw? And do you have to have a clue or is it just a straight swip?

It's quite easy to remove the rear clusters, just changed mine for some crystal blacks and took me about 10mins in all.
Holding the lights in are 2 clips and one bolt.
All you need to do is unscrew the bolt (this can be done by hand), then grab the bottom of the light, lift up (lifting up presses the clips) and pull towards you. May need a bit of a wiggle to get the clips out.

You will see the bolt and clips on the new lights.
