My polo was made in Brasil and I don`t know if only there are kind of taller compared to the height I have seen over europe.
So I need to lower my polo the fastest way before I save for a better Kit.

So I found this spare parts that they say you can lower your car. I have some friends that they already used them and they say the work great. So I decided to try.

So this is how it looks before ... ...Kind Of tall

So this is what this kit do. It only compress the springs

And the Final work look like this. Compare with a picture of a before and after

I took measures before and after
And on the rear i get low about 33mm = 1.3 Inches
And on the front about 38mm = 1.5 Inches

The suspension gets a little hard. But not to much. I went to try it on some roads and you could not believe how well it handles now.

And how mouch it cost me ?
I got to get 4 kits of those. One for each spring
One kit costs me $7.8 Us
total $30 us :P

Thing is how long will that type of modification last for.

I have to admit your car looks better for it but I'd be a touch nervous clamping down your springs.

if i were you id take those off and invest in some springs to put over the stock dampers because you have now got a spring with a load of conflicting forces and also some huge chunks of metal in between the coils so if you hit a big bump its going to compress the spring onto theese clamp thingies and then try to crush the clamps
i cant really go into much more deatail because i have to go work on the car but if you want i can after inters

I'd have to agree with the guys on this one...

It looks better, but I'd consider this to be a temporary mod only. I'm pretty sure you'd be much happier with a complete kit in the long run.

Other than that, it does give you an idea on how the lowering looks - not bad, now does it?

:D

Yes I know all the cons. of installing this things but as I said
Is provisional, I just want to see how it will look lower. Over here in my country is to difficult to find accesories for VW. So is allot more of $$$$ not just to get them but to bring them all over UK- So I`m Saving some money for the coiollovers. 8)
