Airconditioning not blowing cold

Hi everyone, i've got a 2008 Polo 1.2 (BZG) of which the aircon is not working. I've had it regassed (no leaks found) and i've replaced the pressure switch as well but that didn't do it. I have noticed that the radiator fan is not spinning when the AC is turned on, it only seems to spin when the coolant temp reaches 105C to cool it down. What could this be?
Do these cars use a clutch or variable displacement compressor?
Greetings, Alex

Variable displacement compressor so it is run at all times - unless the shear coupling on the drive pulley has failed due to maybe the compressor seizing.
Try to see if the compressor shaft is turning when the pulley is turning.
Also, try to check is the fan can run slowly and fast by applying a shorting link to the fan control sensor that is connected to the engine coolant radiator.
Edit:- I'd expect that if you use Google you should find out how to check the fan for its running at both slow and fast speeds - all VW Group cars use the same way of controlling the fan, so you might have to use VW Golf in your search phase.
