What needs tuning?

Set of plugs - oil and filter - air filter and fuel filter - dizzy cap and rotor are all well withing the capabilities of a 3 year old with some experience of Lego

Plugging it on a computer and making adjustments to the timing will only be worthwhile if all the components are in top notch order - ask at any garage.......

Do the basics first......

IHTH

Do the basics first - or your trip to anywhere will be a waste of time - I can't recommend anyone in the Stoke area - but I'm sure someone will

well.... plug no.3 would require a fairly strong and stubborn 3 year old to get it off, but the rest is true.

if you dont feel up to the basic tasks then a service centre that offers a 50-point service for £69.99 or whatever is a decent, if slightly pricey alternative. they may be able to pick up on whatever's wrong with the engine and any other creeping faults with the car as well (if you ask them nicely and bring beer)

....i'd avoid formula 1 autocentres though. and the place that's round the back of rover colliers in erdington. cowboys who couldn't even get the right plugs for the car :D
oh and the dealer, unless its still in warranty.
