Hi,
want to know what fellow 9n drivers (and others) think of this without ruining the surprise in Belgium that much.
You all know my polo right?





I've sold the 16" wheels and bought 7,5x17 BBS RS301

I want to go for a southern california look, so I think something like lexus white would do the trick. Together with a black rooftop that looks amazing I think. But I want to know what you all think, so please tell me. Let it out!!


what do you all think. I want to see a bunch of replies here!!! even if you think it sucks or you have a cold.. I want to know

Think black & white would look very

Maybe have the bump strips and door handles black too... and darken the rear lights.

Or how about a black bonnet and boot lid/spoiler too...

Stick a... P A N D A ... badge on the back (like the animal, rare and unique!). Good name for this look/car I think!

My viper stripe idea got slammed - still toying with doing it - but I'm thinking maybe a satin black bonnet on mine

Noooooooooo - you'll be suggesting the zebra stripes accross the side of tehe car next - You've got to be joking right?

I like topside done in black - maybe bonnet too but I hated the half sides in black - sorry

thx voor the advice guys. Don't want to play too mch with the black and white though. I prefer the whole car in white but the roof gives it something xtra i think. Don't think I will spray anything else black, that would be too much

Sincerely white cars for me... They look like big fridges. But if you want your car in white I think that all white is the best.

I like to think of it as more microwave than fridge but then I like white cars - all my favorite cars have been white - A big green one might end up being white one day!!!

You mentioned Lexus pearl-white, I wonder how that looks in real life. It's bound to be different than the plain RAL white. I know you can get Cadillacs in white, wonder how that looks... Here's a wallpaper of a white SC300.

I'd vote for all white, but with a black roof and black mirrors. And that iron cross, although you'll have a lot of explaining to do. You can get a mirror like that as well btw.

May as well get that roof box painted matt black, add some hand painted white pinstriping on it... Just a thought.

what do you mean by a pinstriping? The side photoshop of my car is an old one, just added the new wheels. But the mirrors are also going to be painted black, as is the inside mirror. But prolly not matt though.. more like the hart of the RS's.. the upper back side will be black too..
The roof box will get painted too offcourse. Can't go off to worthersee with a white/black car and a silver roofbox can I

btw cool pic. Lexus white is white with some pearl effect indeed. I thing Vwjee his car is in that color. G2 with the audi wheels.. I'll have to look into that cadillac white. GOod thinking

Glossy black is cool too, for the mirrors, roof, roof box. Just like the wheels.

As far as the pinstriping's concerned, check out this video.

It's all done by hand, free-style. I'd say use it on the box and *maybe* on the car.

This is another cool pinstriping example, I saw this and couldn't help thinking of your car

The head-on shot (now removed) reminded me of a Panda... with the Polo's lights (as Pandas eyes), black door mirrors (its ears), the black VW badge and black grille strips (its nose and whiskers)... and of course the Panda colours... black and white... funny how some cars can look like certain animals

I'm now thinking about candy-white from the new Golf5 gti and biarritz white from porsche Lexus white I don't like cause of the pearl effect. Don't like it.

I'll have to descide soon cars going in the bodyshop january 10
