It's because like the toys, they are cute and cuddly and have a habit of irritating people :lol:


Really it's just a slang name that seems to have caught on like Scooby for Subaru and Roller for Rolls Royce. The Octavia is called an Octy for the same reason.

Hmm...why not Fabby? (Plural; Fabbies)? This seems more apt as they aren't cute, not especially if it's a Revo'd 180bhp VRS cruisin' past you...2 Fast 2 Fabby? Hmm...has a certain ring to it, doesn't it? heh heh!
