Engine Cooling

You know that little round bottle tank with the pink liquid stuff for engine cooling?
It's below the MIN and I've only driven 3700mile. Is that normal? Didn't know that they go down that quickly.
And what should I fill it up with?

LOL at your descriptions!
Your expansion tank is running low. With the weather getting colder it's using it's anti-freeze properties more...quite normal! Go to VW and ask for some anti-freeze and they'll happily supply you with the right stuff that is the same as the stuff that's already in there.

Well got this from Halfords today, not too sure if it's right, but too late now poured it in already.
