Is there somewhere a live 12V power supply in the boot? I'm trying to hook up some neons in the boot but dunno where I can get the power from? How about from the amp?

That would be the most ingenious one to use!

So your going to look for something harder when it's there right infront of you. All you have to do is attatch a distributor block to it.

What you actually mean taking power from the amp source? I thought that was a joke. Isn't it too powerfuL?!

emm yes... but it is possible to get a 12v source by doing the wiring just like the amp ie rip up the car's interior(again)!

No i meant the line for the amp, it's 12V isn't it because it comes from your battery. Attach the wire from the battery (that is currently in the amp) to the distributor block. From the block attach a lead to the amp and one to what ever it is you want to power, in this case your neon's. However you'll need something to switch the lights off or they'll permanently be on.

I get them from Maplin usually no more than a £5 each but they're lumps of gold metal.

yeah, i was thinking that.... but it would b on all the time...... so another wire dedicated would b more sensible with switch? whats a distribution block?

Or use the relay diagram in Mole's guide to wiring front fogs and use the remote from your head unit, that's what i did.
