Lowered

Had my car lowered on 35mm H & R springs thing is no one can get the wheels aligned up again they keep sayin its to low now to align up because the camber is set diff!

anyone had same pros???

I've got the H&R springs on mine, there was no trouble at all with the alignment. I got the fronts set and then got them all laser aligned at another garage as a check.

I'll have to check to see how my tyres are wearing though...

i had my mk4 lowered on some springs ages ago from the Powerzone (nr Burnley)

they sold me some s**t excuse like that

I eventually just drove myself to Thistlethwaites in Bolton who just realigned everything while I waited.

I'm not really a fan of Powerzone. I dont know alot about cars, I'm no mechanic like - and they took the p*** of my lack of knowledge when selling me their excuses me thinks.

Now if they want a website or some print materials, I'll hook them up for 3 times the going rate and smile while telling them they're getting a good deal.

there chatting rubbish slammed mine -80mm on fk coilovers and alignment and camber where a piece of to set just say to them look if you don't what your doing then i'll go spend my money somewhere that does that will really wind em up.

mines lovwer 40mm on 15's
got mine done at the local kwick fit, problem was getting on the ramps, used wood in the end so front didnt scrape.

My gti is lowered 110 mill and there was no problem.

So where is there down south thats trustworthy of setting up someones suspension properly? anyone know of a good place?
