no t wanting to sound stupid, but... did u recently post up on 'porka' about having everything need to convert a 1.3cl to a GT? (ie... running gear etc)
Reason i ask is... i want to buy a GT engine this Saturday. I'm half way there to go & look @ one in your neck of the woods anyways.
Drop me an e-mail with how to contact you about this please or post up here.
Cheers.
Pete

That article only explains how to stick GT injection on a AAV CL lump - I'd recommend that for the hassle and cost involved you go the whole hog and get a full GT engine and gearbox, as well as the injection system.
I've been there with the GT injection on an AAV (I wrote the article!), but without the close ratio GT box, higher GT compression ratio, and the hotter cam profile of the GT it's not that great a conversion. Although I did get 60bhp at the wheels (approx 70-75bhp at flywheel) with just the injection system, the power delivery and driveability weren't that great.
I got fed up with that conversion very quickly, and went and bought a scrap G40...
