I have the chance of some possible G40 goodies tomorrow & was wondering if...

The inlet manifold, throttle body, radiator would prove a usefull worthwhile uprgade to a GT engine? Also, any other parts that have slipped my mind to mention... such as gearbox? (whats the code for the G40 box)

All thoughts & opinions welcomed

Hoping for some good feedback by the time i get back home from work in the early hours of Saturday morning (in time for the trip to the place where there are many VWs)

the inlet is smaller than a gt-throttle saleable but wont fit a gt radiator is the same... gearboxes highly sought after by G owners

I'd have the gearbox if it's reasonably priced and not fooked.

Any pipework (both exhaust and engine)?

If the tb is cheap...

What other bits?

Typical... i arrive & the 2 G40's he had have been sold for 1500 for the two, ouch!
