Was it a Fair Compensation ?

Right so the f****d up the Pedal Box Recall on my GTi.....

Basicly i was driving around in a car for a few days with teh brakes half on consatantly....... really anoying and nearly caused a crash...

So... they give me 4 new brake pads and a set of frount disk's

Well.. fair enough really, if they repaired the problem and replaced all the parts which were affected by their mistake without any hassle, you can't really ask more..
Anyway, at VW retail prices a pair of discs and a set of pads is a lot of moneys worth of stuff..

Spose so, was just pissed of that they fitted a falty part from new as they called it, but never tested it, just let me drive off with it f****d and as far as i can see dangerus....

For example, i tapped my brakes to slow down in traffic and my car compleatly stopped dead, nearly caused a car to pile into the back of me...... good job he noticed, made me look like a right t*t thought
