Straight swap to install but ul have to remove the front bumper. Mine were on the car when i bought it u could have a look on there if u want an idea of how to remove them. Any boost? sounds like the turbo has gone, black smokes usually means its overfueling so if the turbos not supplying the air the fuel doesnt burn properly not sure if its the same in an sdi like what does that stand for?

ive had this before the car is going into limp mode and as mentioned above those are the most likely problems. another thing i noticed is when i scanned with vagcom the fault never appeared when i got it into limp mode and scanned it it came up. i think it was charge pressure positive deviation.

thats all right mate yeah i wouldve gave u it cheap aswell coz iv seen the bills for refurbs unreal like. yeah the guy mapping the car is currently on holiday till next week and im away next week offshore for 2 weeks and then its obviously crimbo so looks like after new year for me
