cud do but theres no fun in that i think i run a fuel line to the tank and use the mk2 set up with the mechanical pump intill i get the parts i want multi point injection maniford and ecu.

looking at the mk2 there is no ecu so 4 times being i use the 1.3 with the carb maniford on it. it has a mechanical fuel pump which i cud use but the mk3 is allready fitted with a electric one which wud be best?????

hopefully later on i can get hold of a multi point injections manifold and ecu to ...

ok so wat if i us all the mk2 engine with the carb? is there an ecu on a mk2 polo e reg?

oh rite wud the air fuel mixture be rite cing as the bores wud be bigger?

going back to engines the mk2 1.3 is a carb lump with no cat or lambe sensor also it has a mechanical fuel pump where as the mk3 has a cat lamba sensor but is fitted with a eletric fuel pump would the 1.3 need the mechanical fuel pump or cud i just leak the eletric 1 up

and where r the ecu on the ...

my mk3 has a single point injection 1.0 engine and i got a mk2 non injection 1.3 engine i want to put in it. is it just a stright swap or is there any hindin suprise i need to now about???

i got some old 13inch alloys 4 my mk3 squre back getting some 175/60 toyo tyres!! on them but like yours i got to repaint them all i am going to do is give them a good sand down to remove the old paint then just prime them white! it should do the job!!

My mk3 polo is lowerd 40mm i should be getting some 13inch wheels with 165/65 tyres on do u think there will scub when i gt 4 people in the car when i gt everbody in the car the back does drop alot!!

the wheels i gt on at the min r standed 145/80 13 steel wheels wich dont rub when the cars full.

u can pick a spark tester up at any car shop 4 pennies with that all u do is places it on the plug then put the HT lead onto the end of the tester with the engine running u will c the tester flash ever time that plug firers,

If all the leads r firing your fuel/air mixture could be weak.

I got 85mph out of my 1.0 but my front shocks r gone so my car bonces a lot at speed never mind i got a nice lowing kit that will drop it by 40mm job done well nearly.

I got a 1.0 mk3 and have a 1.3 engine and box from a mk2 polo but the engine has no cylinder head so would the head of the mk3 fit the mk2 engine block?

Hi i got a mk3 polo squareback and a mk2 polo squareback 4 spare parts but will the front and back suspension sturts from the mk2 fit the mk3?
