well lets see, Pettsy had to stop for fuel twice and I averaged 42.8mpg over the journey but only because I never went over 60mph!

And loads of lil Saxo's went past.......

We just got over took by loads cos me and Pettsy were on petrol conservation!!
As per Mike in the Seat bombed off.... ****ing diesels!!

I use Quantum Synta 505.00, Volkswagen approved one.

You shouldn't use any oil which doesn't have the VW approved 505.00 number.

Another update.... I've had pretty much everything replaced on the front suspension now, my "local" (13 miles away) dealer have told me they've ran out of ideas and told me to take it somewhere else!! So now i'm taking it to another dealer which is around 30ish miles away, if not more. Tha...

What were your original tyres??

I've had pretty much new everything on mine apart from new spring.... but as the other thread says it could be something to do with the drop links?

Thats always a good thing I will also be selling my Polo sometime after July and getting a Mk3 Ibiza Cupra
