I didn’t think the rating would matter, it just needs to send a signal to the amp right? Can’t seen to find a diagram anywhere, I’ve also put my horn fuse in the wrong slot like an idiot so now that doesn’t work. Eugh.

2016 GTI fuse box layout
Does anyone have a diagram for the under steering wheel fuse box? Or, can anyone tell me what fuse I can connect my sub's remote to (only on with ignition)?

For anyone else struggling with this, turned out it was me been a slack a**e. There's 2 rectangular slots on the lower front panel of the infotainment system in the glove box that you can slide some flat radio keys or similar down (I used a couple of the missus' nail files..). This will pop the clip...
