As you say OBD is the only way!
when connected - full search revealed the air intake purge sensor at fault. Disconnected, then reconnected - fault then cleared since no re occurace.
Must but one myself - any recommendations for simple but inexpensive unit?
Thanks

Engine Warning light - any ideas?
Hiya Guys
2020 Polo Match 55000. Today (hot day) engine warning light on!
Car running without any misfires, or any noises.
All levels correct.
Got home, and lifted bonnet - no visual problems - heard what sounds like a very quiet electric motor running (very low noise) rad fan not turrning.

Winter Problems
Hi Guys
I love my 2020 Polo (at least until the last week.)
The winter has arrived, and the car (kept outside) has front screen totally fogged up when car is entered.
The demist system is totally non effective - even after 10 minutes there is no sign of demisting taking place. This with the heater ...

50000 miles - time to change?
My 2020 Polo match has now reached 50000. Is it now time to consider a change? What do you think. Any high mileage users out there?

Re: Door Mirrors
I think that the nearside mirror does not protrude outward enough away from door body, however you do make a very valid point/observation. Will try some 'readjustments'
Thanks

Door Mirrors
I like my 2020 Polo Match BUT dislike the mirrors - in particular the view and range of the nearside one. As far as I know this mirror is the standard original item. Any recommendations?
Do VW offer any alternatives the the 'standard glass? (NB The mirrors on my previous Mk 5 were ideal.)

Re: erractic fuel consumption
Wind resistance would explain why I get two totally differing mpg results on a journey A to B - then B to A.
Have had a tremendous change in the last few weeks - since the weather temps have risen. Have now got readouts up to 60 mpg on occasions. Car certainly likes the warmer weather.

Re: erractic fuel consumption
Thanks, an interesting comment.
My Earlier Mk5 Polo, consistantly gave unwavering good MPG despite all weather variations.
My present Mk6 was the same for the first 10K.
Will pursue this, and will have to get a digital analysis of the sensor and all hardware components.
Thanks to all for your input

erractic fuel consumption
I have a 2020 Polo Match (Petrol) 3cyl 1 litre 95.
For the past few months, I have experianced a greatly varying indicated fuel read out.
The car was very economic until recently - usual fuel mpg between 55 - even up to 60+ on most occasions.

Re: Heating and ventilation
Thanks for the input Guys - helpful. Since original post, misting has been slight and easily and quickly corrected. I can only think that on the one occasion (?) when the screen was totally heavily misted, I had left some rain soaked clothes in the car overnight.

Heating and ventilation
The heating and ventilation on my earlier Mk5 Polo was excellent, however this is not the case with my present Mk6.
In the present cold weather - the screen demist problem is very annoying first thing in the morning. It take a hell of a time to clear. I get the impression that the O/S venting is far ...

Many thanks for the interest and comments.

Sudden MPG loss
I have a 1 litre 3 cyl 95ps polo 2020, with just 30k on the clock.
I have been quite used to seeing an indicated 58 - 60+ mpg.
This has suddenly changed, and now shows a loss of approx 6mpg. Tyres OK - no brake binding - performance unchanged and good.
Suggestions please (Mass airflow sensor ...

Dashboard Rattles !!
Not a matter of life or death = just a recurring annoyance. My 2020 Polo can go days or weeks in blessfull silence, THEN for some unknown reason I get a week of dashboard rattles. Are there some known areas in the dash area that people have discovered and cured?
