I had the same information yesterday from VW live chat... I ordered in mid February, was told delivery in late May, then late June, now looking at mid December. I'm also considering cancelling my order - it's an absolute p*** take!

I don't have my Polo yet but, I would assume it's the speed limiter as the SE definitely has that as standard... from my experience with other manufacturers, the speed limiter and cruise control symbol are very similar.

I thought exactly the same thing! "They won't be around for long" mate, they're not around at all.

So... for anyone who is interested, I've just had a live chat with VW UK who have said that the factory is already closed and will be until August 6th. The next lot of new Polos are not expected in the UK until late October at the least!

Yeah, it’s frustrating. Obviously they do need to make savings where possible due to Dieselgate... however, they shouldn’t compromise on customer services and annoy those people who still want a Volkswagen.

I had a reply from the dealer this morning - they said they don't have an update currently on what items are included in optional packs but, will update me accordingly... which sounds like there is an update, just that they're not aware/don't want to explain any further. Headlight washers have ...

I just messaged my dealer this morning actually with a couple of issues.

I’ve also asked them to clarify the winter pack situation... I’m hoping they decide to throw in a couple of dealer fit options but, I very much doubt that they’ll offer anything at this stage.

Let’s see what happens!
