Re: Wind deflectors
Quite a few aftermarket ones think Climair are the most popular choice, however I went with genuine VW ones , more expensive I know but just looked better.

Re: VW dealer fit (upgrade) Sat Nav
I was another one interested in this particular upgrade as mentioned but I've decided against it on the grounds of the extra 'top updates' and the poor signal strength received. I can't justify £600 plus when I don't regularly use sat nav anyway, and when I do I just use Google maps on my phone so it...

Re: Tyre size
Now thinking 215/45 R17 , little more profile than 215/40 R17's and with eibach springs should fill up the arch better?

Re: Tyre size
Other dimensions which should work are 205/45 and 205/40. 195/45 should also work, but this is a very unusual dimension for 17". https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=40&diameter=17&wheelwidth=7&offset=46&width2=205&aspect2=45&wheel_size=17&whee...

Re: Which lowering springs. Eibach or H&R
I've been looking into these. I've found 2 sets but unsure which to get, both Eibach. The only difference I can see is the axle weight difference so which do I get?
Set 1 front axle load 860 rear axle load 840
Set 2 front axle load 960 rear axle load 840?
Why the difference?

Re: Mud flaps
I did think very briefly about mud flaps when I first purchased my polo, but having fitted r line side skirts these at the least the front won't fit anymore. I've also seen polos with them fitted and they just look so out of place and for very little benefit apart from cosmetic look?

Re: Sat Nav
I too was really interested in the Kenwood upgrade unit and was looking forward to seeing how 'hutch' had gone on with his installation, but as mentioned we've heard nothing back from him? For the money £600 plus the future update costs and signal issues ivd now decided against the idea. For what I ...

Re: Alloy wheels upgrade ?
I'm running 15mm on the rear of my gti and then 12mm on the front to clear the brakes. Once I can afford the wheels the I want they will be coming off lol To clear the brakes? Why? Are the wheels you want wider so no need for the spacers? Any particular ones, brand to look at getting? I've had a qu...
