Hi Chaps
Just fitted a BM sort shifter on Saturday and i am generally pleased with it apart from a very baulky 4th gear change .Has anyone else experienced a similar trait , is there any tips or advice to make it slicker or do i need to clock up some miles on it.Your comments are appreciated.

I think it sounds like the clutch cable has snapped which shouldnt cost too much to replace. The signs that indicate that the clutch cable is on its way out are are that the clutch is usually very stiff before it goes .Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for your reply,my polo is in black with the i interior would love to have black leather too but finding one is another story.

Just bought a polo gti and really pleased with build quality and condition.Done my home work beforehand by using carsurvey and Parkers reviews which highlighted pedalbox and alloy wheels which both have been been undertaken under warranty prior to my purchase..I am experiencing 4th gear ...
