1.2 tsi modifications.

To be honest mate if you want something with 150bhp you should look to get a Polo 1.4 BlueGT which has around 150bhp as standard!

Headlights

Hello, Firstly what H7 bulbs are we all running? Anyone running any led replacements bulbs? I’m looking for some reliable blue/white xenon effect lamps. Secondly, I’ve just had a headlight bulb go and whilst taking it out to check what type it was I noticed the inner reflector is loose at the bottom...

Re: Polo SEL DSG 2010/2011.. Good for first car-ish?

Hello Yes the Polo SEL will certainly be an upgrade from a Corsa C in my opinion! Much better built solid little cars with a great engine and better interior etc. You can pick up a decent SEL model for around £5k, why not have a look at an R-Line model as you hear feature extra styling bits etc and ...

Re: Polo GTI 6C 1.8 Intake Manifold VAG Fault

@SamEvans it has popped up 2 or 3 times I believe but every time I clear it, it doesn’t return for months. Did a scan the other week and no return of it so don’t know! Maybe just a common one on the polo? Very strange! Let me know if you do ever get to the bottom of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tap...

Re: Polo GTI 6C 1.8 Intake Manifold VAG Fault

I’ve had this before on my Polo BlueGT, no symptoms, cleared it and all been fine since?

Still no ideas what it was!

Static Cornering Lights

Hello

Anyone know what the different methods are for the static cornering lights on a 2016 Polo BlueGT?

In my Carista App I have method A and B for cornering lights coming in when steering wheel is turned?

Re: GTi or BlueGT?

Had my BlueGT for a year now and I absolutely love it! I also couldn’t decide between a GTI and a BlueGT but due to me doing 50 miles a day commuting to and from work I decided to go for the more economical, cheaper to tax, cheaper to insure BlueGT! It is still a quick car, granted it’s not as quick...

Re: Polo Beats

Oh right sorry bud.

Sorry no idea then! Whenever they have done repairs on my car they always look on the boot for the paint code, maybe have a look in the boot for a sticker or something where the spare wheel goes?

Re: Polo Beats

Hello,

These people are fab for spraying/repairing scratches. Used them many times and they always get the colour spot on.

Re: Removing foglight surrounds on 6C

Yes I can confirm that the 6c BlueGT does have the bumper from the 6R GTI. You use the tool in the boot that is used to pull the wheel but covers off, there is a little hole in the fog light surrounds that you use the tool to pull on, they should then pull off but needs quite a tug to do, and as alr...

Re: Stop/start not working suddenly

Possibly because power consumption is too high with heaters on, lights on, heated rear window, mirrors etc plus if you are only doing 3.5 mile commute the battery may be a little low on charge. If you go in to the CAR menu on your infotainment screen you can look at the status of the start stop. I h...
