Re: Polo (AW) Workshop Repair Manual.
ho8882000; good find. Maybe forum admin @alexperkins could make this discussion thread a ‘sticky’ so it always appears at the top of the forum board. Forum members will then be able to access the workshop manual from the link in the first post in the thread. Smart idea, this should be done before t...

Re: Help - Polo 2.0 TSI GTI DSG horrible noise from rear
How to fix rear brake noise is to replace the discs with groove ones and change to a different compound a softer compound like EBC yellow stuff pads. Why the dealers can’t fix it the problem is they would only replace with the same parts that came on the car so you are not solving the problem. Like...

Steering is fine, a much better ride - less harsh than the Bridgestone's. still running in so not able to test the limits of the traction yet.

Re: It had to happen!
2 months into my ownership someone pulled out of a junction and caught my rear drivers side wheel and wheel arch. Very similar damage to yours, plus the wheel had to be re lacquered. For the paint, it had to be a respray, as it had gone through the colour. Only you can decide whether it's out of po...

Re: The Great Tyre Debate
Totally impressed with these tyres the sidewall protection for the alloys is huge. The wife will have to reach new levels of ham fistedness to kerb the alloys now... :? Here's a couple of pics but its difficult to pick out just how good the sidewall protection is, well impressed. https://live.static...

Hi All, Fitted a set of these to the wifes car https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50214632788_eacbd92faf_k.jpg They are the Golf GTI Club Sport wheel hub covers, they are not a direct fit as the Golf has a bigger centre bore so you have to cut the retaining clips and attach them to some spare Audi ...

Re: Quirks & Features
@SRGTD - thanks for posting the info and picture on this, superb !! :D :D I have to agree with you (due to the size of the chip) pretty much any blood red should do the job as long as its High Temp paint, that is good advice. I just assumed Volkswagen would make a touch-up stick but there you go. I'...

Yup - Trade Part Specialists, I discovered going through the dealer ( Specialist Cars or Aberdeen Audi ) put a mark up on the part !! Dealing directly will save you a bit of money. Crazy when TPS is owned by Specialist Cars anyway !! They get stuff next day and are open till 6pm. The only downside i...

Will likely sell the old HEX+CAN cable via eBay in a couple of weeks unless someone approaches me. I've done, seat belt chime, bleep on lock so far.... wi...

I had the Pilot Sport 4s fitted today by SS AUTOVALET in Aberdeen (ordered from Black Circles), its mobile fitting and they come to your house. Brilliant job!! The fitter was excellent, would recommend !! I've used them before, always good. I've taken the car for a short run no signs of rubbing, wil...

Re: Quirks & Features
The car wont lock if the ignition is on... From the factory the car doesn't allow it. If you come to a stop in your car and stop/start kicks in, you can actually get out of your car and lock it. The car powers off and the doors lock. If you'd prefer the ability to lock the car with ignition or engi...
