Couple of shots from today. Had a front splitter, rear diffuser and 4D Plates fitted on Friday! Perfect weather for a clean as well.

I really like that colour @RichTea. I’m old enough to remember that Ford used to have a similar, slightly darker colour (not in a matt finish though) in the 1970’s. It was called Purple Velvet, and I really wanted a mk1 Escort 1300E in that colour! Here’s one;

VW offered the option of the Spektrum colour range on the mk7.5 Golf in some markets, and there are some interesting colours there that might give you some ideas for your next colour change;

Yes, it was very expensive. The Spektrum range wasn’t offered in the UK but in those countries where it was available it cost the equivalent of about £2,000 (nearly 42,000 ZAR) for a Spektrum colour. I don’t think I’d spend that much on a paint colour .

Add to that an Akrapovic exhaust system (Golf of course) and we looking at close to 5500 GBP, wow! Just bonkers.

Here’s my 2019 Polo GTI+, going for a blacked out kind of spec. Will eventually get the front badge blacked, and recently done the back badge. Other than wind deflectors haven’t done many other mods. I like a OEM + look

Great spot - Some better pics of the mud flaps would be nice, not keen on the factory fitment bit too much. What make are they?
