The section on the passenger side for me was dull and really didn't look great at night. Got the LED replaced under warranty. However as other have noted, this caused a new issue in that the dash then rattled badly
Had to go back again to get it fixed. It's never been perfect since

Re: Brand new Polo, Steering is offset
My late 2019 Polo GTI was badly out of alignment on the steering wheel. How it got through the PDI I don't know.
I went back same day as collection and they took the steering wheel off and repositioned it on to another spline. This didn't fully fix the problem
I then booked it in for full ...

Re: GTI+ Sport Mode (Sound Vibration)
Hi Deano
Congrats on the car. That is a known issue with the vibration in sport mode. I think the dealer can adjust the sound actuator
The demo model I drove had that issue
I had rattles galore which the dealer can't see to fix - One is on the drivers side speaker even at low speeds in normal ...

Re: Help - Polo 2.0 TSI GTI DSG horrible noise from rear
Had the issue from new (October 2019) and took the car back in the first few weeks - pads were removed and greased I believe. Noise stopped but came back with 2 months.
I should go back but I was told unless VW release a fix, nothing else can be done
Heard some members got offered a software ...

Re: Honest opinion - anyone else regret buying their GTI?
I've had mine for 10 months and covered only 4k miles as I work from home now. It would have been closer to 8k otherwise
Anyhow, didn't love the car at all to start with.

Re: PCP Contracts, Discounts and Salesmen [HELP]
I took my car to someone external (for paint protection) who had it for 2 days. Money well spent. He used to work for the dealers and my salesman actually recommended him

Congrats on the order. I'm in West Yorkshire too
I previously had a DSG auto back in 2007 on a SEAT Leon FR

My foot brake pedal has some play in it (side to side movement) - do you have this?
I wondered if something is missing from the pedal housing
I haven't raised this with the dealer yet

^ if it helps you sleep better at night, by all means tell them, but chances are you'll get a call centre employee who's first language isn't the same as yours, who misunderstands your notification, logs you're changing your wheels for aftermarket ones and applies a premium increase on that basis ...

Re: Dashboard Plastic Rattles from flex
I am going to try get mine sorted now dealers are re-opening. I am outside of 6 months now so rejecting car will be much harder, although I have emails and proof of the issues that have been present since picking up the car
Just hope they can be sorted

Re: Dashboard Plastic Rattles from flex
I have a number of issues, one caused by the dealer and the others just a result (IMO) of poor fitment and/or quality checks before it left the factory
I have an annoying sound (similar to yours) around the passenger air vent. But that was caused as the dealer had to remove the whole dash panel due ...

Re: My Current Experience
I don't think you're in that bad a position - a 6-7 month wait has been the norm for a fresh order until recently.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your experience.
My Polo was already built and during the negotiations, my dealer had put a hold on the car so no one else could buy it. I think that reserve only lasted a couple of hours but was enough time whilst I considered the deal on the table
