Re: SEL 1.0 TSI 95PS or 110PS?
Hello, let me start by saying I know nothing about cars.... Looking to purchase a new polo SEL trim but cant decide between the 95bhp or the 110 bhp. I have been quoted £16,600 for the SEL 1.0 TSI 95PS 7-speed DSG 5 Door AND £17,300 for the SEL 1.0 TSI 110PS 7-speed DSG 5 Door. Based on second hand...

Re: Long Term Ownership.
That's exactly what its like, a stall, something that has not happened since I was a learner some 50 years ago. Did it to me couple of weeks ago crossing a junction changing from 1st to 2nd while a bus was crossing behind me, stopped in middle of road when I forgot to switch off the stop / start ve...

Re: Long Term Ownership.
Although I have a manual I also do this as a routine when I get in the car. The number of times I have been caught with engine cutting out as I change gears at junctions something that never ever happened with stop start on my previous higher powered Seat, must be a thing with the 3 pot engine on t...

Re: Long Term Ownership.
Switching off stop/start is part of my usual starting procedure when I get in the car and it was on my previous car too. I only switch it on if I’m in stationary traffic which looks as if it’ll be stationary for some time or if I approach a set of traffic lights that are turning - or have just turn...

Re: Long Term Ownership.
Thanks for the replies, they are much appreciated and have already given me a better understanding of the model. Hi and welcome to the forum I have the 115ps sel model, now 110ps I believe, that in my case came with the winter pack and the style pack. Unlike others I have had no problems with brake...

Re: Quirks & Features
It is very handy on a scorching summers day ( June 6th 2021 in Scotland🤣🤣) if car parked up in supermarket car park as you approach open all the windows and once you have unloaded shopping into boot car is relatvely cool inside. The ability to precool (or preheat) the car from an app on your phone ...

Re: Quirks & Features
If you press once and then press and hold the unlock button and keep it pressed in all of the windows will open until you let go of the button. To put them back up you press once and then press and hold the lock button and they go up until you let go. This did not work on my mates Beats model, but ...

Re: Warning - Check Rear right fog light message
I switched on the fog lights and noticed an error message saying check rear right fog light and a warning triangle in the middle. Went out and see that it’s an LED integrated into the assembly, no bulb to replace. I find this odd as an LED can’t go wrong so quickly and there’s three LEDs in it. Has...

My 2020 Polo is the same, kind of dark grey, deep black pearl metallic on outside, probably a cost cutting exercise on metallic finishes??

Re: White symbol flashes in instrument cluster display.
That is exactly what you are getting, has happened to me twice first time when the person in front of me doing 70 suddenly and with no warning turned left into side road at speed and radar on front of my car picked it up instantly and applied brakes milli- second before me. Gave me a real fright 1st...

Re: Android auto wireless retrofit
Thanks for the quick response! Also, does anyone know if the polo cuts power to these usb ports after ignition off ? I'll want to leave this box in 24/7 wherever possible, so want to ensure I'm not draining power all the time. Sent from my SM-N9750 using Tapatalk One way to find out is stick your p...

Re: Carista
I don't know hot is it in Carista but as far as I remeber you need to change condition required for startstop activation. It should be done by raising minimal voltage of battery required for startstop (I believe it is set to something like 11,7V and people just set it to something they will never a...

Carista
Can anyone tell me how you disable start stop using Carista. Had a look today and cannot see any way of doing this. Do I need the beta version? Your help is appreciated if anyone knows.
