Polo 6n 1.4 OpenAir for £200.00

Selling this, I was going to sort it out but to many family arguements have meant I want to see the back of this car. Nothing wrong mechanically, bodywork is fine just needs some TLC.

Having gone to the dark side, I have returned.

Having owned a polo for some time I thought I needed a change, my Polo looked somewhat like this: http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/5241/p1010019x203.jpg http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/857/p1010019x202.jpg Then (god knows why) I bought this: http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/3667/mg1b.jpg Granted,...

Re: Mk4 1.0 Polo Performance Exhaust???

Like the above post says, mine is a 1.4 with a cat-back exhaust and it sucks arse. It makes more noise than improve on performance, IMO it 's not worth it, mine's coming off as soon as I get a new standard back box (less is more as they say). NOZ, you're a bit busy today.

Re: water leek though carpet

Check the drainage holes under the scuttle are blocked, mine were and the water would run off the roof and straight into the car when ever I washed the car.

Re: Wheel Spacers

ok cheers. any ideas were to get some from and how much? These are the ones I am thinking of getting, need some extra girth on the front of mine as the inside of the tyre kisses the inner arch under healthy cornering. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15mm-Hubcentric-Spacer-Kit-BMW-Seat-VW-4x100-7949_W0QQitemZ...

Re: Mk4 Blue Indicator Lenses(front)

Are you talking about the Hella range?, I think Hella discontinued them. I have a set of the Mk4 green rear lenses in my garage, can't seem to find them on the net anymore, unless I'm not looking hard enough.

Re: clutch/gearbox problems

Reverse doesn't have a syncro mesh like all your forward gears so may crunch from time to time, that's what I heard anyway so could be wrong.

Re: how low can you go on 16's?

Can't answer for 16's but I am down 80mm on 195/45/15/ and depending on how I drive she will scrub. Reversing off my driveway causes the rear tyres to rub the inner arch, front inner arches have been removed so that helped. Not sure you'd want to go lower than 60mm, past that and I could see you get...
