any ideas at all????

dose any one no what the part is called that bolts onto the gearbox and holds up the linkage. it is bolted on by two bolts made out of same material as the gearbox, as mine has broke i call it the gear linkage bracket but vw obviously dont know wot im on about and wondering the correct term so i can ...

i havent droped it out yet as i need to save more money so just wanted to know what and why i lost 10 mph and gearlinkage bracket has broke while driving..

my gear box went and so i phoned up a gearbox restorer and they said they had one so paid £340 for it and another £150 getting it swapped over with the old one and found out i had lost arround 10 mph in each gear first just takes me to 31 mph when it use to be 40. gear box oiul has ...

cheers everyone for all your interest got a guy comin down to have a look see what he says as well the knoking is when i accelerate its near the pedal area but underneath the car round that sort of area cant explain. but the grinding is more of an issue people look at my car for the wrong reason now ...

ok i will get it changed. i have bought the bearings already they are in my boot of my car, i know they are compressed bearings but how do i no if they are correct because i read somewhere that polo gti bearings come with the hub but all i have is a small metal part that gets compressed. any pics of ...

I KNOW WHAT YOUR SAYING BUT SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS THE DISK SO SPENT 130 ON THAT FROM VW AND CANTAFFORD TO KEEP CHANGING IT. DO U THINK IT WOULD MAKE A TYPE OF SQEEKING SRAPING NOISE ON THE WHEEL. AND CAN SOME ONE SHOW ME A PIC OF TH EBEARING

sorry the big picture on the wright with a pic of a mirror with one arrow going underneath it.. and the picture of the switch that is not in black i identical to mine so have i got folding mirrors??? so badley want it...am i the only one with that switch maybe the first owner wanted asked for it ...

the actual switch brocken so the red circle bit is just the light shining through it looks like the same bit as the one on my old polo besides that left little picture. best out of a few i tried to take..
