Hi all, i have a 2012 1.2 polo, 44k on the clock. the car started playing up, and it was looking like it was the throttle pedal causing the problem so it was changed with a genuine one, it was ok for a week then the problem returned, this time the throttle body was changed, non genuine, was again ok ...

POLO MISFIRE 2003.

I have a 2003 1.2 polo with a misfire, i thought it was the common coil but this isnt the case, its misfiring on cylinder 3, if i unplug the coil the car still runs, but if i unplug any other it cuts out, i swapped the coils over but its still the same, so i took the plug out, it was a little wet ...

golf help please.

hi all sorry , i know this is a polo forum but i desperatly need some advice about my golf,
right i bought this from auction today , its a gt tdi 03 plate, 130 bhp, but , in the service book on the sticker inside it says GOLF TDI HIGHL
does this mean its a highline, it says the same on the sticker ...

It plugs in underneather the airbox on the left hand side.
once its been unblcked obviously you push it back into place on the air box, or you will get a messy engine aswell.

Would that explain why my acellerator pedal is stiff to push down then?
How does the stuff fly out if the valve closes? or do i keep the revs up then unlbock it?

sor m8 dont know abouy sticky pedal, try greasing it,
keep the revs up when you block the pipe, the ...

hi all ive seen a few threads on here about polos cutting out at junctions,
ive seen people spend hundreds trying to sort the problem out when all it takes in most cases is 10 mins and its free
all you have to do is take the air box of and there is a pipe attatched to it, this is the problem part ...

tried everything m8, i was dumb founded when vw said it was headgasket
my garage has got £1500 of diagnostic equipment coming monday so w'ell have a play with it, but i thought id just put a post on here just incase someone else has come accross this problem.

sorry this is a bit ot but im really struggling with a golf i have, its a 1.9 tdi on a x plate and the problem is this
it will not tick over, anything below a 1000 rpm and it cuts out, it runs perfect but will just not tick over, the pump has been changed as has anything else we can think of, took ...

funny you should say that as when i bought the car the was a stud missing on the manifold, so best i get my mechanic to check the manifold monday. :wink:

defo not a wheel bearing, its wierd, as you say it only happens at a certain speed, it sounds like the the exhaust is touching the under carriage and it vibrates like hell, also i noticed today that there is a slight misfire on exceleration which is leaning me more towards the cat, i might get ...
