Just had a look @ one in the stealership, the looks are aren't bad, :?

some nice little touches, :) but let down by the quality finish on some things. :(

Lets see if this improves when they do the GTi. :!:

Yeah, I saw one last night/early this morning. It was parked up in some side street, a black 5 door 2.0 FSI.

I think thats what it was as I was on my way to the taxi rank after a night out on the town!

At last! :D

It looks like VW have started transporting the All New mk5 Golf out accross Europe, its a shame that all the cars are left-hookers. :(

As usual GB is the last to get hold of the latest model from VW!

Hi, my car has the optional factory alarm fitted to it when it was built.

It seems strange that some mk5 polos have the light delay and others don't?

Hi, my polo is a Sept. 2000 16v model.

I guess that if your mates car has not got central locking, then the delay function will not work on it.

The quotation that I gave you was from the car handbook.

Yeah, my mk5 16v has this feature, and is mentioned in the handbook.

'On vehicles equipped with central locking, the interior light is switched on for approx. 20 seconds when the vehicle is unlocked, a door opened or the ignition key removed.

The switch for the interior light must be in the door ...
