yeah they look ok..and at the price worth a punt..i've seen the same sort at around £80, anything to improve your braking is a good thing.

mmm it really could be a lot of things, maybe your clutch is slipping or you need to clear out the throttle body with a can of cleaner, what car and whats the mileage?
you could also had some rough fuel last time you fueled up...
has it done this before?

yep had the same feeling for years at MOT centres, it's nice when they pass.

I agree with madness, seems there was a rust patch and they have lifted the area with the jetwash and water has got in under the lacquer, this really could go either way, I suggest a nice polite letter and see how it goes.

it's called electrolytic corrosion, very common with alloy wheels onto to steel hubs, like Adam suggested when you put the wheels back on use Copper grease.

Funny you should say that, if you can get hold of the wheeler dealers prog when they re-vamped the Golf Gti Ed China replaced the gear linkage and showed how how to do it in detail.
