Admittedly it does sound low but basically the way i worked it out was as below, but more importantly & evidently they do fit the polo very nicely :-

0.5" lip = 12.25mm
1" lip = 24.5mm

Front
STD RM 6.5 et33 + 0.5"(12.25) = 7j so 33-12.25 = 20 ...

4x BBS RMs with tyres

Fronts 7.0 x 15
Rears 7.5 x 15
Tyres are nearly new Vredestein 195/45/15


Had been recently built prior to me buying
Barrels have been powder coated
Aluminium dishes

No overboost...well technically anyway...If you're driving off boost and floor it, you'll sometimes get a boost spike for a fraction of a second but whether that'd have any effect on torque I'm not sure. i'd stay away from Revo...apparently their maps are quite aggressive at lower revs but tail off ...

It cost me £400 and was mapped by Fontain Motors.
with regards to the reduction in MPG.. i dont really know as i owned the car for only a few days before i remapped it however i can say regardless how the car is driven the average MPG has never dropped below 50mpg.

I had my Polo 1.9 TDI 100 mapped with the Revo software after owning the car for only 3 days. The power delivery is very smooth and lasts longer throughout the rev range. The in gear performance of 3rd and 4th in particular is so much better the map has totally transformed the car, in 5th gear ...

I would advise you to go for a the 1.8t insted, as the engine is lighter and more easily tunable.

I have recently sold my beloved Mitsubishi Evo 8 and now I am looking for a Polo 1.9 TDI 100. (How strange does that sound?) anyway I was wondering if you polo meisters could guide me on what to look out for when buying this particular car...common problems..etc
Any advise is much ...
