Re: BCM max, RLS, Bixenon adaptation for my 6R Sedan
Hi Ciclo,
Finally managed to fit RLS components and did the BCM max wiring and most of them are working beautifully.
Could you please help us in resolving these pending issues:
1) Rear fog lamp working only when headlights are on. Not working when parking is on.
2) Reverse camera flickering only when engine is started, working fine when engine is off.
(PS: We have taken reverse camera power and reverse signal for auto dimming mirror from reverse light line)
3) License plate light warning in VCDS. (despite confirming as connected correctly)
Also, attaching a full VCDS scan herewith.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
-Sree.

BCM coding to solve the issue with the LED licence plate lights
3A904AB808A10000013806B03CCB96905BC0612E60042001200000030000
I'd suggest to attach the RVC to a relay, operated by the reverse light signal.
This way, the power is not from BCM but from a fuse.
For the reverse fog light, I'm not sure. Maybe you could have a look at the light switch? Does it output the correct signal when the light switch is in the parking light position + rear fog?

Re: BCM max, RLS, Bixenon adaptation for my 6R Sedan
Hi, i did installation in this car. I have checked power from the headlight switch. Its giving output of rear fog light in both parking and headlight mode. Also i took output test from bcm, its working in output test.iichel wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 4:41 pm BCM coding to solve the issue with the LED licence plate lights

Reverse camera is working fine in smgsharduls and vento2013 car. In vento2013 car at start it was not working but after chnaging coding headlight in bcm it started working fine. If we cant make it work by coding, then we can use relay to make it work.
Thanks for licence plate light coding.

Great, thanks for the report.sreeramkumars wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 12:54 pm Hi Ciclo,

Also, attaching a full VCDS scan herewith.Code: Select all
End ---------------------------------------------------------------------
I've checked the Autoscan. But first:
1) It is very rare this behavior of the rear fog light.
- Check that the problem persists with another AUTO light switch that you know works correctly in another 6R/Vento (PQ25). Where did you buy the AUTO light switch? Was it brand new?
- Also check the blue terminal splice for T17/9 according to the installation guide (WL3b) ... it should be correct because the rear fog light works with headlights ON.
2) Remove this installation, it's totally incorrect (I don't have time to discuss this with anyone ).
- Take the RVC power from where it says other possible devices (+30, 5A fuse)
- Reverse signal for RVC and auto dimming mirror from reverse light line/wire. (in a point as far as possible from the BCM and closer to the reversing light) (it is not absolutely necessary for auto dimming mirror)
3) Do you have LED license plate lights installed?

1) Yes its a brand new Auto switch that I procured along with RLS sensor from vk.com forum (Roman). I'll check the connection based on WL3b and revert back.
2) Will do as suggested this weekend.
3) Yes it's installed. I'll try the coding provided by iichel and share the outcome.

I would have coded your New BCM Max ( ) for LED license plate lights if you had warned me of this circumstance.
If your LED license plate lights are genuine/OEM enter this BCM coding:

So we are only left with rear fog light behavior. I'm yet to find another car with this Auto headlight switch. Hoping to test and confirm this weekend.

Re: BCM max, RLS, Bixenon adaptation for my 6R Sedan
Ok.
Please tell me the part number from your LED license plate lights (OEM).

Re: BCM max, RLS, Bixenon adaptation for my 6R Sedan
Thank you very much.
I will have to find out why in my BCM (like yours) I can activate the diagnosis of OEM LED license plate lights without faults and your Vento has this fault under the same/similar conditions.
What happened to the strange behavior of the rear fog light?

Finally managed to fit RLS components and did the BCM max wiring and most of them are working beautifully.
Could you please help us in resolving these pending issues:
1) Rear fog lamp working only when headlights are on. Not working when parking is on.
2) Reverse camera flickering only when engine is started, working fine when engine is off.
(PS: We have taken reverse camera power and reverse signal for auto dimming mirror from reverse light line)
3) License plate light warning in VCDS. (despite confirming as connected correctly)
Hi ciclo
Even I am facing same problem my rear fog light is not working in park light position and it's working with headlight on and reverse camera flickering

Re: BCM max, RLS, Bixenon adaptation for my 6R Sedan
Same electrical installer for vento2013, smg_shardul, seeramkumars (Vento/Sedan) with the same symptoms in their car.
I guess the installer will have to give explanations.
Everything work like a charm in many other Vento with the 'same' wiring looms but diferent installer.
(100% success in all my wiring looms installations)
---
Notes:
1- Don't invent anything new trying to save on wires, work or time of work. Follow the original diagrams (ELSA).
2- Follow the installation guides faithfully, they are based on original electrical diagrams and the experience.
3- Don't modify the BCM coding without knowledge of what you are doing to find a solution to a poor electrical installation due to point 1.

In my case I did wiring myself and I have coded bcm as per your guidance plus wiring is done as per your instructions provided.
I got to know about rear fog light when i read this thread because I never use rear fog lights as it disturbs vehicle behind me.
