That’s standard fit engine cover for the AW / BZ Polo GTI / GTI+. I think the same style (i.e. plain, black plastic) is used across VW, Seat and Skoda in vehicles with the EA888 2.0 petrol engine (Audi may get something a bit more fancy).TrebleTA wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2024 10:44 am So I've got a new question, when I got the car I noticed the engine cover is like a lump or black plastic and plain, has anyone changed this at all, is there a better looking design, or just the way it is now?
I’ve never felt the need to spend extra money on upgrading an engine cover that’s rarely seen - in my case when I lift the bonnet to check fluid levels and to dry the water deposits (from the scuttle, tops of wings, edge of the bonnet / along the top of the headlamps and grille front wings) after washing the car.
