indeed it is- looks dodgy in the picture its actually really nice. the leather gaiter wasnt held in place properly when i got it but sorted that with a cable tie on the underside so looks fine now. is actually really cool to use as well- is the golf ball type knob with the indents like on the early mk1 golf gti's

Nice motorbass mekanik wrote:oh- the exhaust is by a company called "longlife". I have never heard of them personally! its a 6"x4" rear box. sounds a little loud for my liking but i can live with it. reciept for it shows £350!!!Si_GTi wrote:Leather... ICE... black-coated BBS rims... Kamei grille... sports exhaust (what make is that by the way, looks nice!)... tints! All for less than £5,000![]()

If you want more info i can dig out the reciept and send you contact details?
I've got the same exhaust I believe - on my 16v. tell you what - it resonated like crazy until I put the centre silencer back in
took a bit of doing but the thing was physically painful at 70mph. never heard anything like it - just pressure, not "loud" is you know what I mean.

leather seats for the polo are something of a rarity, keep an eye out for the interiors of either gtis with leather, or a polo colour concept (arguably even nicer than the GTI leather)
be prepared to pay up to £500 I would say. possibly even more.
other option is to go for a complete customer retrim- woudl set you back in the region of about £1000- £1300 depending on who you go to. if you take this route- dont forget to do the rear quarters and door card inserts!
