Has anyone changed their front discs? - Advice needed!

Has anyone changed the discs on their 9n, I removed the caliper and the alignment screw and bashed the disc with a rubber mallet, but no joy! Is it just a case of using more force? or is it held from behind, in some way?

I did mine on the 6N2, took ages to get it off, just gotta keep hitting it with a mallet or something until it loosens up, they get corroded on pretty bad! Suddently it will just pop off.
