Climatronic

Post by clees »

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering whether anyone knows what functions are available on climatronic. I have been told that one function is that you can make your speed appear on the climatronic screen along with other functions.

is this true???

thanks

If you push down the fan down temp down and the econ button at the same time it takes it into disagnostic mode. You then use the the temp up and down to move through the functions. 16 is your speed default is in km/h however if you push econ and auto at the same time it will change it to mph.

Another helpful option is 4 this is the out sidetemp however you can adjust this using the fan up and down button, this means in winter where the aircon condensor does not operate below 4c which makes it a pain to clear the windows, you adjust this temperature above 4c and the aircon will start working again after a few minutes of driving it automatically reverts to the outside temp turning the aircon condensor off again however by this point the window car windows are perfectly clear. This solved my biggest pet hate of the climatronic system !

there is a reason the aircon isnt suppost to work below 4°C, its because the condenser can freeze because its getting so cold. Be careful overiding that function.
