you wouldnt say that trying to park the ashtray as i had to on the driveway today, squeezing it in so others could get off later, putting it as close to the neighbours wall as possible but still ending up a good foot shy because it was just impossible to tell with mirrors and best-guess whether i was miles out, very close, or liable to scrape all the paint off if i moved forwards/backwards any.

or having to dodge out of the way of my mum parking.

19 times out of 20 it'd be quicker, easier and safer just to nip the car in as you currently, ignoring the display or having it completely off, but every now and then you'd be a little rushed, or having to rely on the kindness of strangers to allow you time to make the manouever in pressed traffic, attempting to get into the only available and almost too small gap..... where it would come into it's own.
