For me, the bonnet of this car is an example of the packaging headaches the pedestrain impact ratings are now causing manufacturers. Just look at the bulbous "snout" it's now got, just to create enough space between the bonnet at the engine so it can deform when someone's stupid enough to jump out in front of it. Fair enough, you could argue it's given it a grille that is remeniscent of the Scion tC's, but I stand by my original assessment - it's one ugly car.
Now - don't get me wrong - but pedestrian impact ratings can have positive effects, as well.. They're one of the reasons why the forthcoming VW sportster is mid-engined...
