What Has She Done!!

Post by Sadgeek »

Got a phone call from my wife whilst at work today, telling me that she has had a 'little accident' whilst out.

Turns out she came around a corner approaching a junction onto a dual carraigeway and was so busy looking to see if there was any traffic coming, she didn't bother to look if there was any traffic in front waiting...

Unfortunately, the Escort that was sat there stopped her quite quickly!

Apparently, the guy's rear apron is now in the hedge, his back-end has a very nice rounded 'v' in the middle of it, his hatch doesn't shut and is less than straight, and is missing a rear set of lights. He reckons it's a write-off!

The Polo is fine, and apart from a slight scratch on the nsf quarter rubbing strip, you wouldn't know anything had happened (externally) :D

Still going to get it inspected by the local dealer, just for peace of mind.

Tough New Polo? Certainly seems that way compared to Escorts

from working in accident repairs if she was over 25mph then expect quite a bill when it goes to get assesed but if you like to work on your cars and the chassis legs are straight then its possibly a diy job, if you can get it assesed and then post up whats damaged then we can help you to repar it and get just the paint done professionally
