Throttle cleaner safe?

I just want to cleanning up the throttle inlet,
I used to do it to my Yaris without problem,
but for our GTI, the throttle body is upright,so eveything
you spray, that goes inside it.

Was wondering if that safe to do that,
or need to take out the whole unit to clean?
Anybody clean it before?
