Noobie wheel question

Post by GF'S cars »

Hi there guys great forum you got here, I usually live in the Migweb forum as I drive a Cavalier GSi, but my gf has a 6n 1.4cl. And since I have put 17's on mine and put an Ibiza GTi splitter on it she's caught the bug (no VW pun intended there). So far I have bought her a set of Hella's (green ones, match the car perfectly) and a debadged grill. Next on the cards is a lowering kit and then some alloys. I really like the RH cup look, going for the roller skate look. But I don't know anything about VW wheels being a vaux man, although I have always had a soft spot for the Polo hence the gf has one. I mean what offset do you need to get "the look" and will that make the wheel bearings wear quickly? Cheers hope you can help.

ET 35 mate is the best bet. stick to either 15 or 16" wheels and try not to go wider than 7" wide. unless you like a challenge! RH cups are nice
