Who saw Top Gear?

Post by Scorpio1 »

The new Phaeton!!

Jeremy Clarkson liked it! That interior is something I tell you, and he said he drove a 6.0 W12 without the limiter and reached 201MPH!!! :o

But after all it has about 420BHP and 406 lbs.ft / 550 Nm!!

Anyone fancy doing a conversion into the Polo?

conversion is pretty much impossible in my eyes unless you dont mind a mid rear polo :D because even the W8 in a passat you aparently have to half remove the engine to do somthing as mundane as a lamba sensor :o so id imagine youd have some problems shutting the bonnet

i think in the same test he had the boss of vw in and when he sat in the car he went to start the engine and the key wouldnd turn becasue it was already started but was so quiet

oh and didnt he break one :?:

Not sure if he broke one, but wow!

I sat in the 3.2 at VW's and it's got so many toys, buttons and lights!

How cool is that radiator/air vent thing?!

think it needs some bigger wheels though (chrome 20s should be a dealer option! )

I just couldnt believe that he actually liked it. The Phaeton seemed like the kind of car Clarkson would loathe.

My Dad drove the W12 with paddle-shift at a Silverstone track day a couple of months ago. He said then it was stupidly fast.
