fog light wiring loom

Post by Robw53 »

does anyone know where i can get a wiring loom for the fog lights and also the replacement switch. i have seen the guide for making your own wiring but would prefer a pre-asembled loom.

you mean the loom as in the bit that connects to the back of the fogs? to connect the wire to the fog?

you can get it from vw dealer, but i wouldnt bother. i went through this and for the 2 days a year you drive with fogs on, it aint worth it!

Switch can be had off ebay I got one a couple of months back didn't pay a great deal for it If I recall. Never had any luck with a loom, there was a brazilian seller with the full package on ebay for £66, was too slow to snap his hands off, lamps, inserts and loom.

I got the full set off eBay, hongkong guy as well. He forgot to send the loom and relays but no fuss. did a direct solder jobbie and used one of my own 40A relays, works perfectly :)
