Trouble with lowering

Just had my 1.4 TDI lowered on FK's and it rubs on the anti roll bar. Does anyone else have this problem???? Where can i get a modded anti roll bar to stop this??

any help would be great thanks

Oh feck don`t tell me that i`m getting mine lowered by 50mm next week :? :? , i don`t know where you`ll get a modded anti-roll bar m8 probably best phoning demon tweeks or awesome maybe a good bet, good luck with getting it fixed mike

Are you sure its not the drive shaft thats rubbing on the chassis?

Not rubbing on the chassis def anti roll bar just ordered some drop links from venom motorsport that should sort it. Then i can get my porsche rims on it

Hmm, I would like to see that to.

I've lowered my car by 50 mm (Eibach) and do not have that problem.

How much did the FK lower your car ?

Its pretty strange.
Mines down 120mm.
I cant see what could be rubbing on the anti roll bar.

Let me take a coule of pics, so you can point out what its rubbing on.

well i have 17" and wanted to lower it 50mm as well but i was told that it would kill my shockers if i lowered it that much or are you talking about uprated shocks as well as springs

Rob this is my mates car.
It is on 17s and lowered 95mm all round on Coilovers.
His Koni shocks still only lasted a year before they started to leak.
Id defo go for upgraded shocks if your lowering 50mm.
Anything over 30mm imo

do you know of any manufacturers that affer good quality shocks but without going over the top with the price

it is really low with the extra weight of the diesel up front. Def anti roll bar rubbing, i'll get it on a ramp and take some pics.

Ebay

I bought my -50 mm Eibach Sportsline springs for 99 euro. New !

But that's because I don't need to change my dampers (VW sportdampers installed).
