hi guys my rear wheel bearings have gone, so i went to autosave in aberdeen and they told me the ones for the polo Gti were £78 each, was f*cking shocked to say the least. has anyone else had there wheel bearings go.?

Help please. :cry:

Alright mate. Yeah I had a wheel bearing go a few months back and it cost me (or my warranty provider) £100 quid fitted by an independent garage. Apparently they're so expensive because you have to buy the entire hub or something.................

forbez gti - juat wondered how many miles has your car done?
do the wheel bearings on these go at the same sorta mileage or i spose it depends on driving style etc
