Soo.. any ideas on dates? May I suggest we have it on a sunday so as many as possible can make it? As long as it's not on a saturday and I have a week or two notice so I don't book myself up at work I'm pretty much free any time.

righty then! got a bit more information for everyone!

sunday 28th of august is the day i have chosen. i have spoken to the people who work on the place pictuered above about how we would like to hold the event there, they are happy with the set up and are looking forward to it. there are a couple of things that i should mention now, unfortunatly we are not aloud to have a BBQ (council forbids it, dam them) and there is a small charge of £3 to get in. obviously the forum rules on meets apply!

i'll put up a full write up about the meet soon, but it shall no longer be called the south east meet as not everyone is happy about having to travel sooooo far, so this is not the south east meet, this is now called "The Viking Run" you shall see why when i do the full write up!

the day will hopefully go as followed:
meet at a designated point somewhere near whitstable at about 10am. then once everyone is happy, we shall go in convoy down to thanet, through birchington, margate, broadstairs and ramsgate, ending up at the final meet up point where we shall eat and chill! its a big mission but if we can pull it off, it should be pritty good!

thoughts anyone?

regards
Doug

Sounds good to me, it's gone in the diary, certainly should be there.

thought i'd better give you an update on whats going on! we are set for 28th August!

we shall be meeting up at the sainsbury's car park in whitstable at around 10.30/11 ish! once we reckon everyone is there, we will go in convoy to thanet passing through margate and ramsgate! i had a good cruise map planned out however a trial run of it brought it out to be pritty dam long, so i have had to cut it short!

anyway, we shall get to the picnic site at around 12-12.30 where we can chill, chat and have food. sorry, no bbq's. also i hope you don't mind but there is a small charge for using the area which is around £3 for the day!

how does that sound to everyone? going to need exact numbers so i can let the people know how many they should be expecting!
