armor door plates

hey, just wonderin if i get armor door plats for my handles, whats involved in fitting them? do i have to strip the door to get the handle out to fit them?

as far as i know its basically undoing the screw just inside the door, and then flicking the handle cover off and undoing the screw under there,then the handle comes off.slide the armoured door plate over the handle and refit 8)

tisn't quite that easy on the polo unfortunatly!

the polo one sits in a reccess where as the golf one doesn't. this means the holes don't quite line up! mine came with them, but when i de-locked the passenger door, i had to bend the metal section where the screw goes in to the end of the door so i could line up the screw with it. if that makes sense! never have been able to say that right!

anyway, it is possible easily, but its just not as easy as slotting it in! well thats what i've found n e way!
